Why are cyclists allowed to break the law? |
like no lights riding on footpaths two on a bike the list goes on. one question disallowed for nothing maybe their all cyclists at yahoo. Cyclists actually have to follow a lot of the rules of the road. If a cop actually sees them commit an infraction, they can give them a ticket just as if they were in a car. As far as what they do while on the sidewalk, they should be courteous to foot traffic, and if they aren't - you should carry a walking stick or something to stick in their spokes. Source(s): Years of riding a bike. Technically, they are not. But the cops have to catch them and frankly they are too busy with felons most of the time. cyclists are not exempt from the law. Any policeman observing, a breech of the law, by cyclists must take action, ensure the cyclist is reported for the offense .And fined cautioned etc. In the 'real world', we do not have enough 'beat' officers , to catch and process these all these miscreants , Still if the law is broken, it should be enforced . Bring back the local beat officers !!! Who really knew their 'Manor' And lent heavily, on such misdemeanors . WE need and pay for , a safe environment to live in >^,,^< IN my experiance |
