Conservatives, do you conserve anything? |
All these Global Warming questions and I am just curious, do you recycle? Turn off lights when you leave the room? Walk or ride a bike occasionally? Pick up litter around your house? Eat organic foods or shop at local farmer's markets? If you do any of the above, why? No, they only like to conserve CEOs in oil companies in power at the expense of middle america. Not like "Do what I say not what I do" Liberals, I shut off lights and water when I finished using it. I do do these things, but my motivations are different than yours. Instead of feeling guilty about me causing global warming, which is hogwash, I turn off lights and ride my bike in order to save money. I am a very thrifty conservative. Sometimes I do do farmers markets, but there's only one in my town, and its small. And as a Boy Scout of course I pick up litter. Conservatives turn off the lights, and ride bikes because it is cheaper for them. They pick up litter so that their houses don't look like crap. We eat organic food because it is better for us. However the typical, non extreme liberal does it for the same reasons we do. My dad is a conservative, my mom is a liberal. Whenever I am at my dad's house he does the things you listed just the same as my mother does. Yes. I conserve as much as I can, I always have. We recycle, we turn off lights, we walk when we can, of course we "pick up litter". I shop at farmer's markets but organic foods is just marketing. I still don't believe in Global Warming... just keep on believing all of that 5th grade Michael Moore-like propoganda... 30 years ago everyone was worried about another ice age and climate change, today it is a warming trend 30 years from now it will be cooling again do I hear anyone say normal cycle?!?!?!? and I am not like Al Gore because I practice what I preach! |
