made daft error and connected battery wrong and it sparked, bike now dead when i've reconnected battery properly. no engine lights... nothing. fuses checked, replpaced oe which had blown, but still nothing happening, anyone know what could hve happened to the innards when i connected to wrong points on the battery. its mega urgent as i sold the bike, and the guy arrives at the weekend to collect.... ooops !! t Try changing the fuse, and replace it with the right fuse. Now, for the down side, you may have shorted out something. And, it could be a number of things. I would suggest taking it in to a shop and tell them to call you before making the repairs. Hence, get a understanding that you want an estimate before they make any repairs on this bike. I don't think that it is a big thing, but tracing wires and checking for shorts can be time consuming for a novice. Good luck. Check the negative battery cable where it connects to ground. The arc may have damaged the connection. Also check the battery positive cable. |
