Driving a loud motorcycle in chicago? |
i ride a motorcycle. my bike is loud. i wont ride in chicago. the bottom line is loud pipes save lives. i just returned from a bike trip that ended in LA. going into LA i was very concerned about riding there. i was stunned and amazed once i got into town. its very common to see motorcycles split lanes in LA. the locals are completely respectful of motorcycles. they are totally aware, completely respectful, and even helpful in all their actions. they dont block bikes in traffic. even with pedestrians, they dont j way, they cross at and with lights, and a car never approaches a person on foot. i could go on forever. i was so surprized. chicago drivers on the other hand are stupid self absorbed unconcious aggressive and passive aggressive clowns. ive lived in chicago my whole life, and have never seen this so clearly. which does finally explain why we gravitate towards the arrogant dictitorial corrupt stupid politicians that are so entrenched here. bring on the feds and fix the schools Amen, Bro If loud pipes save lives! I ask; Where is the fact, documentation or studys? To the contrary, the "Hurt Report" (a study of motorcycle accidents) draws no supporting conclusion to your statement. If anything, "chopper type" motorcycles were found to be involved in an majority of accidents. Loud pipes are not a right, for operating a motorcycle is a privilege. Hey, thanks for the warm fuzzies about LA! Also, thanks for the warning about Chicago. As far as arrogant dictitorial corrupt stupid politicians . . . have you forgotten we have mandatory helmet laws in the people's republic of CA, so we know all about those. keep them loud and keep them safe |
