Power not getting to the rear wheels on a 1982 Suzuki GS1100 w/ driveshaft?

The bike runs good. If you lift the rear wheel off the ground, and spin it, the driveshaft rotates. When I put it in gear, the indicator lights change to show it's going into different gears. It's not making any noises. NO grinding, clunking, any sort of noise at all. Obviously, it's somewhere in the transmission, or clutch. Any ideas, or anyone else have this problem? Thanks in advance.

Uhhhh....did you check the tranny fluid? And if you did and it was empty, did you check for leaks before filling it back up? Source(s): logic.
CLUTCH
it has a wet cluch in it i know the oil in the bike goes to the transmision as well. so oils will make you transmision slip on you
