I have recently started doing a new excersise routine and have found some of my clothes are getting smaller ?



I have recently started a new excersise routine at home. we have baught a new excersise bike and I have been doing 20 minutes a day and also doing a form of crunch for my stomache and also 20 minutes of yoga. I have big boobs anyway but I first noticed they have got larger which was anoying. But more worrying for me is that my legs have got bigger and my waist is also getting wider. I heard once that this is normal and that your waist goes back in later , is this true ? Or should I ajust my excersises? I eat really healthy ...no chese oil or meat and dairy . I eat lots of fruit and vergitables rish and soya milk ( n porridge for breakfast) n diet drinks. ( my only treats being the odd packet of gum and a diet cola or really light ribena once in a while) Please help. This has really worried me as a self confessed anorexic who has managed to get to a healthy level without medical help!!!!!!

We often get tempted to do more exercise than we should to speed up the process. Don't!
All you will achieve is muscle build. Unless of course that is what you want to achieve.
Follow the program and you will tone up.
Go over the top and you may end up looking like a bodybuilder.
I think you will be OK.Its just your muscles getting stronger.You will get trim in the end I'm sure.
i think its totally normal, im excersing myself at the mo, and ive been so good eating healthily and yet i weigh more, my instructor told me it was normal as fat turns to muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. your arms and legs will expand with the growth of muscle. go ask at your local gym for some advice, i know how you feel though honey i was addicted to laxatives for a very long time. good luck sweet heart x
You need to add some stretching exercises to that routine. The problem is that you are generating muscular bulk, and you need to lenghten the muscles too, you can swim or do jumping jacks or any isotonic exercise
you have obviously got an irish exercise bike, take it back and get a rowing machine instead.
You are currently building new muscle mass. Don't worry about this, as lack of testosterone (due to being female) will prevent excessive muscle growth.

The good news about this is that since muscle is very metabolically active (requires energy simply to exist) your basal metabolic rate will begin to go up (number of calories burnt by the body) and your weight and measurements will therefore begin to go down once again, with fat 'replaced' by muscle.
