What just happened to me? |
I was bike riding with my friends and I started getting tired and breathing really hard, I hadn't ate or drunk anything all day long. So I stopped and it was hard for me to talk I got really dizzy and I felt like I wasn't there. Then I sat down, stood up again, walked around etc. I looked down a hill and all I could see was the light. It was really dizzy and it was hard for me to breath. And my periferal vision got all black and grey and I could only see directly in front of me. So what happened? Also, I'm a vegetarian and I hadn't eaten any protein all day. Your brain was lacking something. You could've been anemic from not eating. You could've been dehydrated from not drinking. You could've had mild heat stroke, increased by not drinking. Eat and drink before (not 20 minutes before, obviously) you do any excercise. You were doing all of the exercise on an empty stomach.. your body needs proteins, nutrients and carbs for energy. I think you pretty much answered your own question. EDIT: You can prevent all of this by simply eating before you exercise. Eat before you exercise. I am no doctor, maybe you should see one, but I would definitely look to your lack of food and water first. You should never workout, ride bikes or whatever in the summer heat without having any food or water all day. do n't skip meals it's not healthy for you. Thats why you were dizzy you were dehydrated sounds like dehydration. make sure you drink plenty of water when riding your bike. Your body needed energy and hydration. To prevent this from happening you need to eat! It's not rocket science! |
