I have a compact Pb rechargable battery on my bicycle light. I must have an unregulated charger. The instructions say 7 hr charge with 11 hr rest before use. What might happen if I do not follow these instructions exactly?
Overcharging will result in a sharp decline of the batteries life span. Corrosive properties may also ooze out of the battery ruining other parts. There is some degree of variation in the charging process but not to exceed the general instruction parameter by much.
You might burn up the charger or your bicycle light, maybe start a fire. Please follow directions.
