Motorcycle Insurance Question (VA)?

I am 15 戮 and have my motorcycle learners permit (VA) and since I don鈥檛 have a bike yet I was wondering if insurance would be more for a bike than a car. I heard from someone that its less expensive for a bike because there is less to insure which makes sense. Also what鈥檚 a good bike to start with, I particularly like the R6 but let me know what you think.

Im a beginner to street bikes, I've been racing MX for about 4 years. Also, what do you not like about the R6 or what makes it not a good beginner bike?

Definitely do not start out on an R6. It is a high performance racing bike. Make one small mistake and you're crashing for sure.

The R6 is a not a decent beginners bike.

Suzuki SV650, Hyosung Comet or GT series, or Suzuki Katana are all good choices for beginners.
