Is it necessary to know how to ride a bike before driving a car? |
I have tried to ride a bike, but I am not very good at it, and it may take me some time to get better at this situation. However, I am 19 years old and because of high insurance costs, I do not drive or have a license yet. I would like to enroll in driver's ed soon, and my brother thinks that it's pretty much mandatory to know how to ride a bike before driving a car. What do you think? I also have a hard time keeping the bike balanced. I tried to keep the bike straight many times, but my feet would stop pedaling and I almost fell down a few times. no. the mechanics of it are completely different. remember, you don't have to balance a car to keep it from tipping over! that seems to be the hard part to cycling if you ask me. He is WAY off base. You do not need to know to ride bike before you can drive, they are not related at all. He's got to be pulling your chain!!!!!! Nope I dont think so............... |
