Can I get really cheap insurance for my bike if I only use it for a couple of weeks per year? |
I live in Argentina, and only go back to the U.S. for a few weeks out of the year. What's the cheapest way to insure my motorcycle while I'm there? Get insurance where you live, not where you're visiting. If you're in the US for a couple weeks per year, then atleast you've got insurance, whether or not Americans are familiar with it you are still covered by it. You could buy a 6 month policy, and cancel it after you return, but insurance agencies generally don't like that sort of thing. Do that once or twice, and pretty soon they'll refuse to write you a policy. |
