After an at fault car accident, should I let my insurance company give my coverage info to the other party?

I was involved in an accident 4 months ago in California, and I was noted as at fault by the insurance company (turning left, and hitting a bike without reflectors). I have $50,000 in bodily injury. I own my home and my car is an old 1995 honda civic. My insurance company is asking if I allow my coverage information to be provided to the person's attorney. Should I allow my coverage information to be provided?

Might as well - if the attorney files a law suit against you he's entitled to know that information any way. So he is going to find out any way. Why give him another reason to file a law suit against you.

** not legal advice -- only an attorney can give legal advice -- use at own risk **

Sounds like they are getting ready to take your house.

You're better off that way than the parties Attorney suing you in a civil suit.Youre insurance should cover it. Depends on how much the injury was.
