What's the difference between 50cc scooter and 125cc? |
I have 3 questions about scooters: "New To Scooters" thread first of all you need a speacial licanse to drive a 125cc motorbike and you need insurance to drive both bikes and finally you can park your bike next to the bike racks It all depends where you reside. For instance in SC you need no license to operate 50cc. Anything above however does require a valid license. Also no insurance is needed on a 50cc or smaller. Which is why they are often referred to as liquer-cycles. I've even seen people take a 150 cc then remove the the 1 sticker on the side plastic making it look like a 50cc at the glance of an eye. Shockingly many police don't care or bother them even though they can have speeds at 70mph. the difference between a 50cc scooter and a 125cc scooter is of course the engine size. the 50cc engine is generally stock model, the engine sizes go up from there, a 50cc scooter usually will haveminimal interaction with automobiles, Hi. You need go to DMV to get license to drive scooter 125cc. You need insurance for 125cc scooter and for parking, it depends the mood of polices; actually, we can not park scooter next to bike racks, but polices just ignore when they see it, they may give you ticket for that. bout 75 cc |
