Driving car points and riding bike points, r they the same.? |
i am looking for motor bike insurance and i was wondering say if i get points on driving a car ,do i have to include the points obtained from driving a car or not. or is is just riding points that i need to include# i got 6 points driving a car without insurance and now i want to insure my motor bike, do i have to tell the insurance company that i got 6 points driving. which will increase the policy. or r they just interested in riding points, of which i have none. Your licence allows you to drive/ ride several types of vehicle, dependant on the tests you have passed. 1 licence means the points carry over all catagories ie points on your bike and you have points on the car. Good point pal.! Yep. They all count as they are on your licence. Your points are for speeding (or whatever) mode of transport doesn't count. yes, any points on your license apply to both auto and bike policies Yes - afraid you do - as my husband found to his cost when on his bike he mistakenly went through a red light in front of a police station and in front of a police car! (No - really - there were a cluster of lights & he thought the one he was looking at was for him - but it wasn't & the so & sos did him for it - whilst saying "Oh yes - lots of people get confused by that - but not many of them do it in front of a police car!") all points are associated with either accidents, tickets or fines. These 'points' are applied to your driving history. It doesn't matter if some happened while operating a bike or car... points are points regardless and are on your driving record. Yes. Motor vehicle records include go-carts, boats, cars, motorcycles, mopeds, etc. Yes, it's all the same. Any points on your licence count on every catagory of vehicle you drive |
