Motorcycle insurance...Full Coverage..?

When you take a bike to get looked at by an insurance company what do they do to inspect the bike..I have a ninja 250 if that matters.

Do you they make you start the bike. If you have details i would like to hear about it.

When you take a bike/car for inspection at the insurance company they are essentially going to confirm that the bike exists and what condition it is in. They will likely take photos.

They are not going to perform any kind of mechanical check on the bike.

They just want to see if it has any aftermarket parts (exhaust, windscreen, etc.) so they have a bteer idea of what payout might be if you were to make a claim.

They may also be checking for the general condition of the bike as well as mileage.

They look to see if it is a bike they would consider a "Super bike" or fast street bike. If you have a Harley Davidson or a Honda shadow you will pay the regular motorcycle rates. if you have a fast motorcycle like a crotch rocket you are going to be put into the super bike category with higher rates

they inspect for existing damage and any customizing you have done to the bike
