Even insurers who offer '6-wheel' policies (combined car and bike insurance) won't allow you to transfer the N.C.B. from bike to car, or vice versa.

No, i tried and no insurance company would allow it. I think its bloody ridiculous.

but it does go on your record so you're more likely to get a deal.
it counts, but is not included in your new insurance if it's a completly new insurance package

At one time you could transfer your NCB to the insurance on a three-wheeler. But I'm sure you value your life too much to make that move!
