Are there any Insurance agencies that will not ask for outrageous sums of money for a 20yo on a sportbike?

I am looking at buying a GSXR 600 and you would think that I am looking into a Ferrari from these quotes. Are there any companies that are reasonable? I have check mostly the big three for bikes- Geico, Allstate, and Progressive.
Also If I put my truck with the same company does the multi-vehicle discount take off much.

well from personal experience of calling around and getting quotes, the bigger and more knowm companies are the MOST expensive. try finding small agencies, ones that dont advertise. look in the phone book too for ones you never really heard of, they usually have to lower rates

well, they will ask you for too much because you are a 20 year old....Regardless of insurance company......You answered your own question...

first off, i want to apologize for being an insurance quoter. second, i want to tell you that because of your age, is the reason it is so high. before 25 insurance rates are very high. especially for men. if you live anywhere in the southeast united states...tenn, fl, ga, la, tx, al, sc, nc, ky...call direct general. they may, MAY, be better. but your age is a factor. maybe an older person can help you out so the down payment and monthly rate can be lower.

Try Dairyland if it is available in your state. Sometimes they are less expensive than Progressive. They give you the option to run your credit score. If yours is good, it will help your rate. Good luck to you, but sportbikes + young male drivers = expensive.

A - little experience under your belt - high premium
B - young age - high premium
C - sportbike, higher risk - high premium

State Farm has excellent motorcycle rates but you must have a clean record & good credit to be eligible. Also, most companies don't give a multi car discount on a motorcycle.
