Bicycle Insurance?

Where is the best/cheapest place in the UK to get (push) bike insurance?

I have ajust got a really good bike but not very clued up on them and am so scared of it getting nicked!!!

Are just two but be prepared to be ripped off, no cycle insurers are cheap. If I were you I would have a chat with the landlord and see if they could add your bike to their insurance and you pay the difference. Marks and Spencer are really good covering bikes but you need contents insurance through them.

Just had a thought there, if there was a fire/flood or something would your belongings be covered by your landllords insurance? He might only have the building covered. Get it checked out.

Try going to the place that you bought the bike from and asking if they supply insurance with their bikes. If in doubt, try Halfords or any other large bicycle chain.

In most cases it should be covered under your homeowners or renters insurance. If you are not sure that it is covered, call the company and ask them what it would take to get it covered, the additional payment for the coverage should be nominal.
Just put it on your household contents policy - it will only cost you about a tenner tops.
