Bad situation...2 tickets and 2 crashes...? |
ok, before you start calling me a bad driver. Heres the horrible luck i am in. I came here for help, so help me. First thing i did..a month into my license, i got into a car crash, totalled my car. 8 months later, i get a new car. I back up into someone in a parking lot, barely anything really, but i dented a car, so i had to have my insurance cover their car. (my truck is fine). then 2 months after that, i get a speeding ticket. (havent we all).. it was for going 30 over the limit. (one of them late at night, no ones on the road). ok the court date for the speeding ticket isnt til august 8. My mom is being chill about it, because i have the 300 dollars already..(barely). so...my situation is alll taken care of..because of traffic school im gonna take for the ticket. ...but .. im down by the beach, i just BARELY roll this stop sign. a cop on a bicycle pulls me over. gives me a ticket for loud music, and rolling a stop sign. see my situation. what will happen? help You may want to ask someone for a loan to pay for all these fines. Youir driving record sucks but i don't think you'll loose your license. It's going to cost you though. 30 mph over the limit and I would have towed your car and provided you transportation to the jail. At night or not, the limit is the limit. Play it cool as these charges will not show up at the same time to the court. Just be ready to pay them all off. I giggled when a cop on a bike pulled you over. But hey, not sure but good luck Usually you can make a deal with the prosecutor. They may let you plea no contest and you still have to pay the fine but it doesn't go on your record. But since you are such a young, new, driver, they may not give you any breaks. What will happen?: It's up to the judge. If I was him, I would hit you with the maximums. In less than a year you were in two accidents, got a ticket for 30 over the speed limit (and no, not everyone gets these) and rolled a stop sign. I'm seeing a pattern, are you? Pleading no contest does not keep the ticket off of your record. If it did, everyone would run around, get tickets and then just plead non contest. you could get your license revoked for six months, and if you continue to drive with a revoked license you could do some Paris time m Look at things from the judge's point of view. You have an atrocious driving record. Remember that driving school is something that is given to good drivers who made a mistake. It is extremely doubtful that you are going to be able to talk him into traffic school for 30 over the limit. |
