Looking ahead to Prom, I can't drive -- what to do? |
OK I don't have a driver's license and I am a male high school senior (I bike everywhere and I can't afford car insurance.) I know that for Prom, what *should* happen is that the guy picks up the girl, drives to dance, drives girl back, walks her to her door, drives off. However, this is not a possibility for me. I have hitched rides with friends before (with a date) and it was awkward because with another person there, there was no romantic stuff going on. Plus the driver was her best friend (a girl) so for the whole ride they talked together and I just sat there LOL. I am thinking of maybe getting a limo, but since we only need to go 2 miles then it seems kind of pointless. By the time prom comes around, the girl I want to ask will be able to drive other people legally, so I was thinking of her driving me, but that seems completely unromantic and not good. limo with a bunh of friends is funn or borrow a parents car for the night it's not bad to have a girl drive...don't be soo maucho..if she doesn't want to drve mayb have your parents dtive you or go as a group date thing and go with another couple. Get a limo and maybe drive around a little bit in it.have some flowers and a small gift for her Borrow your parents car. hay, hire a lamo! or a taxi! i would go for the limo. maybe pick her up a little bit early and drive around, just talking. if you set a romantic mood, i am sure she won't mind just driving around town. tricycle will do |
