My motorcycle was stolen and recovered.I reported it stolen. Will it still be registered as stolen?

How does it get off as being stolen. I want to sell it, do ihave to get a salvaged title? I had no insurance. I have the title. Can the bike be sold without any problems?

As long as the police know it was found your ok. Since you have no insurance though you must get it black taged before you sell it only if the tag needs to be updated. Other than that you should have no problems selling your bike as long as the title is in your name. Source(s): Worked for a tag agency for 1 year
tell the police its found
It will still be listed as stolen, contact the police as soon as possible to let them know it's been recovered. Yes, then it can be sold once the police give the okay. Before selling you might want to have it checked by a mechanic to make sure there was no damage done while it was out of your possession. Other than that you should be good to go.
the motor vehicle is different from the cops,

you have the title, call MVD make sure there isnt a notice on it,
common sense on this one dude!
