Do you think that would be good for a beginner? I'd start on a 600cc bike, but I don't want to be bored in six months! I play football in high school, so I'm really strong and stuff and I rode a friend's quad once in Montana without crashing. Besides, I'll be really careful and all, and I'm better than anyone else on the planet when it comes to things I know nothing about! I have a letterman jacket and some nifty, baggy pants just in case I fall over, but I won't be going very fast anyway so it doesn't matter. I have a few speeding tickets, but I can drive a stick shift! I haven't really thought about how I'm going to pay for everything, and I have no idea how much insurance is for a teenager on a sportbike, but that couldn't be too expensive, could it? I think you should also be looking for a web site so you can learn to do some awesome stunts on you way home from the dealer...Good one Biker, I know exactly what you talking about. Don't forget to ask if you can legally ride your pocket bike on the freeway and how old you have to be to get a motorcycle liscence. The Hyabusa is the world's fastest production bike.....NOT FOR BEGGINERS. You should ride with glove, jacket and boots at all time. You should start with a smaller cc bike like a 250 or 400. wow, ummm. i'll just reply to the quote i guess. i dont recommend starting off with an R1 or anything near its class... strength doesnt have much to do with riding, but the weight will help you stabilize yourself. and you dont want to wear baggy pants, cuz that'll rub and rash you up pretty good if you do fall. you want tight fitting clothes. and yeah they are cool, but they could be very dangerous to a novice/over confident rider. it will take a while to out grow a 600cc bike, if ever. knowing how to drive a stick helps a little. and a quad is nothing like a bike.. Buy a 600 till you get some riding experience. Trust me, you'll never get bored with a 600cc sportbike. I think you're good to go dude. Just get the fastest one you can afford and hold it WFO. Haha. Yeah, there are a lot of these sort of posts going around these days. Hopefully the fad will pass soon. It gets old trying to steer noobs in the right direction. This has gotta be a joke. |
