How long should I wait before seeing the doctor?

a couple weeks ago after a long (4mi) bike ride my knees felt sore and kinda "loose" the next day. I took it easy and didn't ride anymore. the past week or so I've been having a burning sensation, first starting just in the knee area and now the past few days it has spread to my thighs as well. not having any pain or difficulty walking, just periodically (randomly) having a feeling like I'm standing just inches from a campfire. using ice packs has helped temporarily. the online self-diagnosis wasn't much help . . . too many choices. don't have a family doctor right now, and no insurance, so not sure how to pursue medical treatment and concerned how costly it would be.

Even if it is costly you should go to a walk in clinic. You never know it is really serious. I wish you the best of luck.
depends how bad the injery is,,remember the faster you see a dr, the faster you will start the healing, so right away, hours ,not days, good luck to you/it sounds lile its imflamed, try tylenol extra strenth
