How well do bicycle motors work that fit over the back wheel & provide power through a roller on the tire?


They are powered by small 2 or 4 cycle engines like the Robin EHO-35. In most locations, they do not require a license or insurance if under 50cc. I have found them on the web, but not in local stores. Do they work well for short, local trips? Do they really get 80-150 MPG?

Yes they work for " short local trips".

And you can expect 100 MPG even though I thnk 150 is a bit improbable.
