Is it really necessary to own car? |
I pay about $350 a month to drive my car: insurance, gas, maintenance. I work a part time job and don鈥檛 make that much money. And I don鈥檛 like to spend my money; I would like to save it for the future. I have thought a lot about switching to a bicycle because my work and college are close to my home. What do you think, is it really necessary to own car? No Nobody needs a car. They also don't need computers,cell phones,etc. There lots of ways of saving money. But money is also not worth having if you never spend it. Not if you like walking if you wanna go out with someone it looks bad if you come up on a bicycle. If you want to go places outside of your town without a bus, or bumming one, yes. This question is for my feet It never is "necessary" to own a car... but it helps... If all you need in life is close enough to bike then I say sell the car. The only thing is in the winter and in the rain, it might suck to not have a car. Is there a bus? |
