How much cheaper is bike insurance (if at all) than car insurance?


i am 18 and am torn between the two, i will go for the cheapest option. as none of my parents can drive i cant be put on one of there policies :( so id have to start from scratch.
if i am to insure a bike im lookin at insurance for a bike of 125 cc.

You will find that generally bike insurance is cheaper than car. However your age is against you, but do shop around, there are bound to be good deals aimed at young drivers/riders.
depending on type of bike your looking at anything from 1200 to 3000 pound a year, unless its something like a scooter.
so if its a proper bike it will cost more then a car to insure generally especially cause of your age
you have to start from scratch even if your parents were drivers. they can not be guarantors for you your insurance will be reflected in your responsibility to using the road ways and motorways
dependin on what it is, scooter insurance ur lookin at maybe 拢20 a month max
should be roughly the same for a bike tho if its a 125
look on the MCE for ur insurance, they are nsoo much cheaper than any other
I'll make this simple for you, if you want to compare two prices for insurance, go to a website that will give you a free insurance quote. you can check for a bike insurance quote then a car quote. Yes motorcycle insurance will be cheaper because damage to other vecheals will be less and you stand a better chance of dieing. dont forget that. a 125 cc bike will not go very fast so it will be cheap and will cost less for that too.
