A few questions about owning an Aprilia bike? |
Ive been looking into getting a bike in the near future, and am trying to get all my homework done and all the facts straight before i want to get myself into anything. if im 16, i know im limited to a 250cc motor, but was wondering when the restriction ends so i can be allowed a bigger motor? Also, i have been looking at the Aprilia RS150 but heard they are hard to ride? would you reccommend it as a first bike? I read that the motor is restricted, but when and what type of test do you have to pass to get it derestricted? How mush is insurance running you? What motorcycle would you suggest a first timer buy and why? thanks! Where are you? (Like what country?) In Australia, there are 2 different classes of licenses, and you can get the big bike license after you've held the 250 license for a year. But it's probably different where you are. Also: Aprilias are cool. Well, I just bought my first motorcycle, and it's a Honda Shadow Sabre VT1100... (1100 cc) My stepbrother owns a bike shop, and has an Aprilia sitting in it right now. The kid that layed down the bike is now selling it, since the repairs cost more than he bought it for. I would up the cc's, personally, because you'll quickly grow out of a 250. But if that's all you can have because of your age, I'd go with a Honda Rebel. They're reliable, and relatively cheap. why are you restricted but any way i whould go whith some 80's 454 kinda bike a cruser Kawisaki Ltd or honda somthing like that as a first bike i whouldnt get a croch roket unless your propared to lay it down and hurt your self theye harder to ride but while doing homework i sugest you look at highth icant spell but when looking for my bike and thats what i forgot and its not just for short people even my nabor bought a honda VTX and now his higway pegs almost go out further then his front tire |
