Do I need insurance on a motorcycle 20 years or older in Ontario, Canada? |
Have a 1989 bike and if I don't have to insure it after a few years I will keep it otherwise I will be selling it. How could you legally NOT have insurance? Canada is not a third world country (yes it is!) but since I don't live in Canada, I can only assume you need insurance while operating it on a roadway (99.9% sure) Unless you are only riding it around on a ranch or something. Ask the police officers on horsies. Then out-run them with your motorcycle. Yes, you need insurance on everything you own. Did you pay tax on that? If you plan to ride it public roads it MUST be insured. If it sits and never ridden then no. I wouldn't bother with theft insurance, but you certainly need comprehensive. |
