What is MPG for a crotch-rocket motorcycle? |
I am trying to figure out whether I am saving any money to buy a bike after figuring in the depreciation of the bike, maintenance, license, and extra insurance if gas goes to $3.25 this summer. Thanks! My three most ridden current bikes... Kawasaki EX250R Ninja..... 70mpg Yamaha YZFR1 1000.....................55mpg Buell X1 Lightning 1203................. 30mpg ...all figures are the best I've gotten. It goes down fro there. do you know what a crotch rocket is? its in your pants. Are you sure you want to buy one? try getting a sportbike they get between 30-50 mpg I would say in the 30 mpg range, but your driving style can change it. the large Harleys get in the 40's on highway My manual says i get between 40-50 mpg on my 07 gsx-r600 but it depends on the size and wieght of the bike ive put about 220 miles on it and only filled it up 3 times and its still got a full tank The Kawasaki Ninja 250r is supposed to get 70 MPG. Pretty sweet. it depends on how you ride. on mine gsx r1000 a low of 32 mpg to a high of 48. it depends on how you twist the throttle you know what i mean. other bikes will be different. consider bike insurance depending on what bike you buy it can be very expensive for the super bikes. consider insur |
