I want my motorcycle licence. Does anyone know the procedures ? |
Hi, I am 32 years old. Class AZ driver , I am a proffesional. Been driving trucks 12 years. I am talented on bikes too. I want to get my motorcycle licence. In Ontario, actually near whitby. I dont know the sytem, I am not interested in taking a course even if the insurance is cheaper, i want to buy a bike next month and go. So how does it work, can i go and just write a test ??? Please help 1) take the MSF course 2) take your MSF certificate to the DMV and take the 16 question test 3) wait several hours for them to print out your new license to get your endorsement you need to go to your local DMV and get the Motorcycle Packet. In the packet there will be a booklet kinda like the Auto test. after you study the book, about 15 minutes, go and take the written temp test. The temps are good for 6 months, the only downfall is you cannot ride after dark, no passenger and you have to have a helmet on. other than that its all good, very easy test, good luck and Ride On! not only profesional.........talented on bikes..... drives a truck...thats a good grounding for riding a bike... not interested in taking a course..... sounding more & more like a mobile donor body...... why even bother with the test.......your so good no one will be able to catch you anyway..... wouldnt worry about insurance either....your not going to be around to collect on it..... 35 years riding & counting......Im taking bets on how long the bike stays upright on the road......LMFAO hey hows it goin some ignorrant people out there eh? well any way i was 32 when i got my licence i wrote the test in renfrew the same day i bought my rocket and that was 2 yrs ago but i was like u operator and good with a bike havent had to pick myself up off the rd yet so i would imagine you will be fine jusy write the common sense test in renfrew or eganville and yes you will have to wait before u can get your m2 but i did mine in the same summer and once you get the m2 all your restrictions will be lifted except 0 alcohol tolerance you can rid as soon as u have your writtenfor about 4 months and request to have your m2 test as soon as possible they are really good to deal with in renfrew hope this helps......JAY experiance |
