Hi, I am really into motor bikes and daft punk. One of their helmet has got LED lights it. any ideas??

The helmet has LED lights all over it, I want to do the same.. I know it is not going to be legal but i will not be going for long rides with it. If anyone could help with some idea or even some things not to use on my helmet. Thanks

Like the others have said the helmet is there to do a job and not as a fashion accessory. YOu can buy some pretty darn good helmets with unusual graphics on them if you have a mind and the money to waste, but basically as long as the helmet is a top quality one it is there to do a job and that is to protect your head. I know my kids helmets have saved them a number of times and each time there is a high impact on it a new one is bought. You only have one head so look after it with a decent helmet and dont worry about how you look as dead is dead.

embed things in yr helmet = structural flaws

stick things on your helmet may cause deterioration of strength (chemical reaction) - no, this isn't speculation - adhesives and helmet material can chemically react, causing brittleness.

question: does your need to look cool outweigh getting a brain injury or being killed from head injury due to helmet light-mod?

Really not a good idea. you wear a helmet for a reason. Keep your helmet standard and protect your head.

You'll be a lot cooler with a brain thats not damaged due to a spill on your bike.

Brain damage= loss of mobility, speech impairment, loss of memory, loss of vision = not cool.

Don't bother, put any money you would have spent on lights, buying petrol, go for a long ride, head for the hills find a nice spot to sit and relax, and think of the question you just asked
