How do i get rid off or deal with my claustrophbia?

I have very difficult times with this, I faint and hyperventilate, and get cold dizzy, nauseus, my arms get tingly, etc...everytime I am in a place that is enclosed and has lots of people or limited air flow. I was attending this convention at this hotel and i was inside a huge grand ball room and still got sick, there was too many people i couldn't breath, also if i am waiting inside a car for too long i start fainting and my herat starts beating fast. In one ocassion i was going to go for a ride with my husband on his bike and while i was with the helmet on and he was tying it up... i fainted! It does happen all the time sometimes i can control it, but sometimes i get desperate, even if I watch movies where people can't breath..i start feeling like if i can't breath as well. Is horrible.! help please.

There are two things that you can do and should do, Go to a therapist who deals with phobias and who can help you with behavior modifications either get over it or learn to control it better, and in the mean time you might need to take anti-anxiety medications. But you can learn to either get over it all together to control it so it doesn't control you.
