WHY? is it that?

why is it, that for protecting your own property you can get done for assault? ie. bloke omes out of the bike shop, to atch a toerag un screwing the mirror off his bike, ase's said toerag, clips him with helmet to stop him. outcome. bike owner gets 6mths for assault. your dog does its job, and bites a bugalar, on YOUR property. dog get taken off you an destroyed.
can anyone explain just how this can be discribed as justice??

Every thing is back to front.
My home is my castle and I don't care what the law says on this one but, I WOULD beat to death a burglar in MY house.

You can use reasonable force to prevent any crime and as long as you have 'beware of dog' sign' you shud be ok on that aswell

Its not justice. its just another example of how daft this country is getting

Don't kknow where you live, but in Florida we have the "castle doctrine" where you can protect yourself, family and property, including shooting the intruder.

Be careful about putting a 'Beware of the Dog' notice up because if your dog does bite someone, in the eyes of the law you are deemed to be aware that he is potentially dangerous and the onus is on you to take such steps as are necessary to prevent injury to third parties. Safer to put something innocuous like Be Aware of the Dog'. But yes I do agree it's all madness
