Do you defy common sense by not wearing a helmet when riding your bike?

I get kinda sick when I se bikers without helmets, that is the exact way my cousin died, and I always get nervous.

I think we can call them "idiots."

When I was a kid we didn't have any such thing as helmets,
elbow or knee pads. That was over 52 years ago. I wish
they did as I hit gravel and most of it left scars on my knees
and hands. Didn't know I could fly that far without wings.

I've been riding for 30+ years and never had a problem... Then suddenly these helmets come out and I have to wear one... NO... I wear my helmet and set an example...

Haven't been on a bike in years. Helmet or no helmet. Now you got me missing the old me!

I think helmets (fullface or 3/4) are very dangerous, so if I were to wear one I'd wear just the little one that just covers the top of my head!, why, because the other types cover your hearing and that can throw your sense of hearing off, and not to mention your balance, I had a bad bike accident once and I wasn't wearing a helmet and I was told that it was a good thing that I didn't wear a helmet, otherwise I would of broken my neck because the way I landed, instead of splitting the side of my head open and being able to live to talk about it!, Helmets suck most of the time if it's your time to die a helmet wouldn't matter anyway!!!...
