Harley Ultra radio plug in connector? |
Can anyone tell me the configuration of the 7 pin connector on my Harley and is it the same as the Goldwing. I have a Nolan helmet and want to wire it with sound but Nolan only make a patch lead for the Wing and I want to know if the Harley carries the same configuration pin and is the wiring connections the same. I have a new Harley and the speaker set for your helmet gives poor sound quality but the Nolan sound set with bluetooth and direct wire to the radio is better by far I do not want to just "try it" as the bike is brand new and I don't want to blow anything I only have the schematic for the 07. hope this helps starting at the tab on top and going clockwise Tab=shield=mic shared shield 6=blank 1=black=mic in shared(-) 4=red=frt mic(+) 2=yellow w/black tracer=hdset spkr shared (-) 5=yellow w/white tracer=rt frt hdset spkr(+) 3=yellow w/red tracer=lft frt hdset spkr(+) 7=blue w/yellow tracer=push to talk if you need more than this then I would suggest getting an electronic service manual for your bike at the dealership.
