Smoking ban at the US Capital? Necessary or Publicity Stunt? |
What my question pertains to is the fact that ---I am a little tired of the "correct way to live police" telling everyone not to smoke, don't eat this or that , you have to wear a seatbelt but God forbid you wear a helmet. At times the "correct police" make no sense. Thundering down the highway at 65 with the wind in your hair makes some happy - so what if hitting the road side splatters their wits all over the road way - the law is okay with no helmet just don't smoke a that rest stop. Both may kill you but why is the government choosing? Don't say because of common sense - that shows they have none. Are bike lobbists wealthy? Before you claim I am a smoker just out to kill people with second hand smoke - here is the facts. I am 46 , never smoked - never choose to, none of my children smoke and my father did smoke but quit. Actually, riding a motorcycle without a helmet is illegal in many places too. They want to shove there bull down every ones throat why have you asked the same question 3 timez I think if the capital should ban anything, it should be alcohol, do you think if Ted Kennedy was just smoking that night at chapaquidic, instead of drinking that lady would still be alive. smoking is a proven killer of humans , i dont mind smokers killing themselves,thats thier choice. however i dont want to pay all thier hopital costs.. smokers have no regard for non smokers. if yo dont like our laws,move out of our country. planes and boats leave daily. it would be good riddance and save our country billions of dollars medical cost charts |
