Harley guys too good to acknowledge crotch rocket riders?

whats the deal with that? I see it everyday. Some middle-aged man or woman,no helmet, have the pleather pants on and vest ,ewwww.lotta good thats gonna do.I pass you give ya the ole 2 finger wave down low and ya just ignore it and keep on sputtering down the road..lmao...its like they ALL think theyre too good. YET its them that havent a clue in my book.Im assuming they dont wave because they deem the sportbike community as a threat, safety concerns, younger riders etc etc etc...like were all dumb @ss's. Im 35 years old,i ride to ride,i just prefer a bike that handles and isnt soo damn heavy.
It cracks me up everytime one of you just cruises on by.Maybe the finger is more appropriate these days.

I get lots of people that don't wave, on Harleys and sport bikes. Just have to realize some people, regardless of the bike the ride, are simply stuck-up pricks. I wave at everybody as long as I can do it safely. I'm guilty of not waving back, but it's either because I'm paying too much attention to what's going on in front of me, or if I'm in the middle of shifting or braking.

I try to give most the benefit of the doubt, but when you're the only two people on the road and they don't wave back, the two fingered wave goes down to one finger as they're going by.
i always wave and yes i ride a harley. it is the guys riding the wanna b harleys that usually dont wave back at me. pisses me off. i can go down the road for 30 miles and i wave at 100 bikes and maybe only 3 or 4 will wave back.
Its only the yuppie weekend warrior types on harleys that seem to be the ones that don't wave back. I wave to anyone on 2 wheels.
I don't "wave" to anyone while I'm riding.
Same reason I don't wave while driving my car.
I don't give a SH*T about your biker brotherhood.
pleather pants!! LMAO!! You made my morning.

I hear what your saying i have waved at other bike riders and knowing they see the *wave* but no response. I have not narrowed it down to Harley riders only. But just this morning i did wave to a guy-girl? on a sport bike all layed down, you know where the lay on their belly across the top of the bike, with their feet hanging on a foot peg near the rear wheel, just cruising in oncoming traffic and the never waved back to me. Maybe they didn't see it,didn't care, couldn't wave back or whatever,I just can relate to your observation of bike riders not waving back.
Get over it, ya whiner... Who gives a cr*p who waves to who?
When did it become obligatory to wave to anyone? If I'm on my bike, I just want to ride and not worry about whose feelings are going to get hurt because they're too sensitive about a friggin' hand jesture.
Yeah I've had it happen to me a few times. I ride a a crotch rocket. But now more and more i see the two comm unites coming together more everyday. I think that sport bike riders and HD riders are getting along better then ever now. I think it is because of the new chopper movement that has taken place over the past 5 years. See people used to hate choppers to and say they were ugly until Jesse James broke loose on the scene with some radical new bikes. Now you got American Chopper and all sorts of custom shops. I think that the "Harley is God" has really lost steam in America now;s its more about what you have that no one else has. What one-off piece do you have on your bike that makes it
'Your Bike". So if someone doesn't wave don't take it personally. Chances are they didn't see you or they are just Moto Snob. If they are the latter then you really don't wanna ride with them anyway.
