Why do people treat questioners like they are 2? |
I had asked a question about detatchable stirrups for children, so my 2 year old sister can start to ride. I got some answers, but a few people got into a whole shpeal(sp) about making sure she wears a helmet, a certified one, not a bike helmet. I am not stupid, and I know these things. I did not ask anything about this in my question and would really appriciate people treating me like the age I am. I am wondering if it is common on Y answers to be treated like this, or is it just horse people that are so condescending? Maybe I am over reacting? I dont know, I just hate when people think I am stupid or something. ANY idiot knows that when a child is riding to wear a good horseback riding helmet. THANKS! People are very rude, and that is the only reason for it. They know that you know to wear a helmet on your sister, they just want others to think their question exceeds the "expectations" i know how you feel :) i guess they are concerned That is kind of annoying. I hate when people answer questions like a know-it-all. Sorry,but some on here answer with stupid answers,guess they're just use to some people on her asking stupid questions.Sorry your experience on here was a bad one,please except my appoligies for all. Mississippi Breeder why would you get mad at people who are giving you EXTRA info you didnt ask for ?? do you think people here are psychic and know exactly what you do and do not know... personally I would rather ask one question and get MORE info that I dont need, than ask a question and not get enough.. I see LOTS of people letting kids ride (often western riders) without ANY kind of helmets... I didnt answer the question you are refering to Well, take into account that no one on here knows anything about you. People may be just assuming you don't know something, because they don't know anything about you. Don't take it to personally. Remember, you are asking total strangers from all over the world a question. |
