Carrying dog on the bike? Is it legal in UK? |
Does it interfeere with trafic regulations of UK to transport your medium sized dog (h-12 inch,30lbs) in special dog carrier tank bag ? No jokes about dog helmets please,lol. call the authorities its not illegal but will atract police concern I don't know, I guess it matters if the dog is big or small. If it's small it might be ok. You should look it up in a book, just to be sure. Very Dangerous -- Think of your own the Dogs and the safety of others .... As long as you use some common sense and the dog is properly restrained. Might be a bit much for a tank bag but you can definately buy carriers for small to medium dogs that bolt onto the rear luggage rack. are you for real. you will get arrested for doing this. you have a duty not just to you and your dog but other road users aswell. its perfectly legal mate,im not sure that carrying it in a tank bag is a good idea though.ive seen a guy on a regular basis at the ponderosa cafe on the top of horseshoe pass with his little dog sat in a special carry box secured to the rear rack,the dog seems to love it. |
