We were born to mothers who smoked and drank Our cribs were covered in lead-based paint No childproof lids No seatbelts in cars Rode bikes with no helmets and still here we are Still here we are I love that song leo!!!!!!I can totally relate to it....i remember having to be home when the street lights came on...i was late some night because i wsa having so much fun outside Never heard the song but I did grow up in a time like that. I can and we all survived childhood. Don't see a lot of mutants running around because of it either. Think it's a commentary on the fact that sometimes things are carried to extremes. Besides, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, plus I think it helps in developing some common sense. absolutely can relate to this song... we got daddy's belt when we misbehaved 3 tv channels we got up to change I love the song, but being 16, I can't relate to some of the stuff (I did still get Daddy's belt when I misbehaved). And I think Bucky Covington is too young to relate to a lot of that stuff also. I love this song i can relate to some of this song. I wish we could go back in time to the way things were. You could go to your neighbors and borrow sugar Defintely can relate i heard it and was like "No Sh*t" lol |
