Of course, I still want them to keep our heads safe! These would be for both children (school age) and adults. Plus, how much do they cost? Thanks
Anything made by Giro will be very lightweight and fairly comfortable. As far as temp, the more you are willing to pay, the better ventilation you will get. A 25 dollar helmet offers just as much safety as a 150 dollar helmet. The difference is the ventilation. All helmets sold in the US have the same safety rating. The difference between a $25 helmet and a $200 helmet is weight and number of vents. If you are riding a road bike you will be holding your head up while your body is leaning forward. For this weight is a big issue. If you are riding an upright bike, buy one that is comfortable and fits your price range. I personally use a Bell Sweep. I like it for the most part. It has a lot of vents which is crucial, and is fairly light. My next helmet will be either the Gyro Atmos or a Catlike. Pretty much any Giro helmet should do
