I lost my aunt's bike, how do I tell her? |
My aunt offered me to use her bike to help me with my commuting, a few weeks ago. Just a couple of days back, when I went for shopping the bike got stolen. Responsible adults replace the things loaned to them if lost, stolen or damaged. Show her the police report from the bike being stolen. Offer to replace it. You approach your aunt with honesty and forthrightness. You were irresponsible, because you don't mention you locked the bike. Truthful answer: It wasn't your fault because bikes get stolen everyday. You were a victim so you shouldn't feel bad about it. I'm sure your aunt would understand. she is ur aunty ask for forgivness.... send her a gift |
