Does anyone know anything about the bike brand "Reflex"? Such as if and/or when they stopped manufacturing

Are these bikes any good and for what would they be worth...my uncle has leant me his which he supposedly bought for $1000 some few (or more) years ago...I went to a bike shop and the guy said it would be worth a max of $100 today...it also has Shimano Altus gears...is the guy at the shop correct about it being $100...PLEASE HELP!

I will say Altus drive-train parts are very low end and typically come on MTBs in the $300 - $400 price range. They wouldn't be found on a $1000 bike.

The shop is mostly correct- Altus stuff is usually found in the $250 or under price range... some Walmart bikes have Altus!

Just to give you some perspective, a $1000 bike would likely have Shimano Deore or better components... the Deore rear derailleur retails for about $65, you can find it for about $45 while the Altus retails for about $25 and can find it for under $15.
