Could i exchange my bike? |
i bought my Specialized FSRxc Pro about four months ago from gratham water bike shop,uk, its a great bike but im sure a hardtail (no rear suspension) would be more suited for me. i paid 1200 quid in cash and im a regular customer, would it be possible to exchange it for a hardtail in that store That depends on the store's return policy. You may want to check with them if you can exchange the item. Sure since you are a regular customers, Maybe could exchange it but if it has any wear and tear you would have to pay the differance. I most certainly would think so! all they would have ta do is cleanit up and ya might have ta take some loss cause they couldn't sell it as new. it depends if they carry used bikes, they might. but you will loose at least 30% of the retail price. if they do not want to do it, you might be better off selling the bike on ebay yourself At 4 months, and I assume you did some MTB riding, your bike is used. Regardless of your relationship with the shop, they would take a loss on a full refund, so while they may let you exchange (it depends if they deal in used bikes at all) it would be asking too much for a 100% trade in value. I think they will work with you but don't expect them to eat the loss completely. Explain what you want to them and ask what's the best they can do for you. You have used it already for several months. Don't expect anything other than trade in value....only if they sell used bikes. You now have a four month old USED bike. I would'nt take it back. You really are wasting valuable time coming here and asking. The quite obvious thing to do is to get the bike as clean and shiny as humanly possible (that's pretty dang clean), then get thyself and the machine over to said bike shop and start dickering. Employ all your capitalistic skills. You can come to some kind of amiable deal. |
