I have a bike with an e-13 DRS chainguide. The chain jumps down to the first ring. what should i do? |
The bike came stock with the guide. The setup is listed on the company's (haro bikes) website, so i know that the bike and guide are compatible. The chain constantly jumps down ot the first ring and even off of the chainset when i go over bumps. Since this behavior is what a chainguide is supposed to prevent, something is wrong with the piece of crap. It got good reviews so maybe the guys at the bike shop set it up wrong. Hey TBS, I once had the same problem with a bike I owned. I agree with shep6965, but I would also look at your chain rings. I change my chain rings once a year, otherwise if I don't my chain starts to pop off every time I start to hammer on the crank. New chain rings coast around $15 to $35. |
