How much will it cost to fix my bike at the shop? |
How much will it cost to fix a bike chain thats keep on falling off at the bike shop?TY You don't say whether it falls off at the cassette (rear) or chainring (front). cant you fix this yourself? adjust your chain tensioner or move you wheel back in the dropout. should be able to do it yourself really, pull the wheel back. if its not that halfords charge 5.99 for a gear adjustment which should do the trick it could be differant things that could be causeing it. if the chain falls off when it was in the very last gear it could be just because of the bar that switches the gear is too close to the chain and it pushes it off. it sounds like it would help if a screw is loosened enough that controls the chains position. which could be done yourself |
