My bike is messed up?

some retard tried to steal my Suzuki bandit a couple of weeks ago. He messed up the whole ride. He opened up the ignition switch, and messed up the speedometer, and everything, so now I pay 30$ a month, to keep my ride into the storage. Tomarow I don鈥檛 have any classes. I saved up so I get the money to have it fixed. But to do that its going to cost 300$.

The wires are already everywhere, he basicly just shoved a pair of sizors and just took apart the key thing, speodmeter, rmp thing, milage thing, took out all the wires.

I need to know which wires I put together to make engine start, I will ride it to the shop, then they will repair it. Or else , the towing company wants 130$ to tow it from my house to the shop, which Is like 4 miles away.

So someone please tell me how do I hotwire the bike just to make the engine rune for like 30 seconds so I can go the shop

Call the motorcycle shop and see if they will pick it up.

right....sad story kid, get a friend with a truck and haul it yourself...if your story is truthful...but i think you may have some underlying reason to wanted to know this info...which you wont find on an answers forum online...you gotta hit the streets for those kind of answers...if anyone can explain in detail over this site how exactly to hotwire your bike...send them my way, I need to pick the lock to my safe because I forgot my combination!!

get a clymer or another manual for your bike, the back pages have the wiring schematics, the wires are all color coded, just trim the wires back twist them together and put electrical tape around them, if all he did was cut them, and just get another switch from dealer.

all motorcycle shops have a pick up service.
do not try to hot wire it you will screw it up worse than it is. it all else fails push it to the shop.

If it is 4 miles you can push it there in less than an hour, if all the wires are pulled out the ECU will probably not be connected so even if you join the ignition wires correctly it still won't run.

It may take a while but if you just twist all the wires that are the same colour back together you should be able to get it running.

Either that or yeah, just push it. I've pushed bikes along the footpath a few times. You get a few odd looks, but if it's a nice bike people start checking you out. ;)

Those guys are idiots in the first place. Only an idiot would go through all that trouble to steal a Bandit. LMAO!

Tough break kid. Hope it all works out for you.

That bike cannot be hot wired.
There is a safety feature built into the ignition switch (I'm not going to tell you what it is, or how it works).
So if you bypass the switch (hot wire) the ignition system will not operate.

Even if you get the wires hooked back up correctly, you can't use the switch.

If you can't push it that far, get a buddy with a pickup.
Or use the tow.
You will be better off if the shop does the whole thing.
