In which walmart store can I find this bike?

Can anyone tell me where can I find this bike http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d... in Boston, MA. I searched a few walmart stores but was unsuccessul.

Now, there's a really bad idea.

That style of bike is very nice, but that particular bike is not at all useful, and a bad value for the money--sort of like a half-price can opener that won't open cans. ;)

That bike isn't functional except for riding a few blocks, and its function will reduce quickly with time.

If you must buy from Wal-Mart, the Schwinn works well and has a name-brand Shimano rear derailleur. This is the best brand for the buck in the ultra-cheapskate price range. Target also has a few examples of these.

Off-brand shifting systems are simply non-functional. Falcon and other junk will cheat you out of what should be a nice experience.

READ the label on the rear derailleur itself to see that it says either Shimano or SRAM, and don't go by anything else. That little arm down by the rear gears? Yes. That thing has to be a name brand or the bike is only toy quality, and not really useful. The label that says Shimano or SRAM has to be ON that thing.

So, the bike has Shimano written on the shifter or frame? Might as well write it on the ceiling too for all the good that will do. Check the label on the rear derailleur itself. Otherwise, you'll get cheated, very, very slowly, and probably painfully.

For an alternative to this extreme risk and corresponding financial loss. . .

Test drives at the bike store are great fun.

This automatically determines the right fit for you, and the educated people at the bike store will insure you get the right fit for the best pleasure.

Many price ranges are available, and there's no risk to the cheapskate because there are no nonfunctional toy quality bikes at a bike store.
You won't find any junk there.

So, shopping at a bike store, with test drives and the security of knowing that price has no consequences (and in many cases, no merit whatsoever), is much more fun, coupled with zero financial risk.

You DO happen to be looking at a generally useful type of bike, even though the brand and model are not useful at all.

That's a mountain comfort hybrid. Plenty of good, economical, examples of this bike type are available at the bike store.

It is the least expensive bike at the bike store, and it is the most generally useful.

It covers road and gravel (dirt trails). So, go test drive a low priced Diamondback mountain comfort hybrid at the bike store. Test drive a lot, and several different brands. This is quite fun, and it dramatically decreases your risk of financial loss.

For reference, the tire that corresponds to this bike type is the speedy Kenda Kross Plus Yellow Label, fast on road, fast on gravel, flat protected. And the quality "plus" version with the yellow label has the same $9 price as the junk version without the yellow label. hint.

If driving on gravel isn't your thing, you may also wish to explore the faster road-ish hybrid comfort bikes. Some, such as Specialized Cirrus, a similar Schwinn, and Diamondback Edgewood/Winwood have amazing distance and speed capabilities. Although the faster hybrids cost a bit more, they open up more possibilities for enjoyment such as weekend or vacation touring, and joining a local touring club, which is great fun. Yes, you can vacation at home. They'll also get you to work ever so quickly, with lots of comfort.

In fact, if comfort is your thing, the bikes at the bike store are generally far more comfortable, while their lighter weight is a blessing on hills.

Like the Roadmaster toy, other really bad ideas include used bikes that people want rid of, E-bay deals, and buying from the Internet. That's because of the probability of just losing your money to a disfunctional experience.

Given two identical bikes, one is certain to work better than the other. Yes. They vary. Test drive for the best value.

Dont buy from wal-mart, its the stupidest thing you can ever do.
You can order it through Wal-Mart.com but are better off buying from a local bike store where they can make sure that the bike is the right fit for you. The cost might be slightly more but for the sort of bike you're looking for, it won't be a lot more.
Order it online (it's in stock) and have it delivered. Save yourself the gas and the time and the headache of trying to track it down.
Please please please do not purchase a bike from Wal-Mart.

They are cheaply made, put together poorly, and no bike shop will work on them when you need repairs or tuneups.

Spend a little more and get a good bike.

I beg you.
