My daughters birthdya is coming up...She will be 4yrs old. Shes 39lbs, and 40"tall...I saw at the store different size bikes...10",12"16"....Im gonna try to take her there and have her test them out. But anyone have experience what size should she be on?
I don't know measurements, but if you take her with you, she should be able to straddle the bike and touch the ground with her feet. I'd get the biggest bike with an adjustable seat that fits her with the seat down as low as it will go so you have some growing room before you need to buy a bigger bike. genearally you want to start them out at a 12,or 16,just depends on how she fits, you do not want to go to big because she may be afraid of it then, also u don't want to go too small because she may feel silly and not want to ride then rule of thumb if she sits on it can can comfortably put her feet onthe ground and has plenty of room to pedal without hitting the handlebars she will be just fine.have fun it is a great experience
