Is it ok when parents let their kids run around and yell and play with things like bikes in a store?

Absolutely not! It seems as though adults enjoy the idea of having a family more than they do actually trying to raise one. Its far easier for them to just ignore their child's poor behavior until they're out of the house and no longer their problem than to try and address the behavior issue! So long as no one confronts them with what their child/children is doing, whether it be a manager or simply another patron, they don't care!

One of the things that I don't understand the logic behind is the reluctance of store managers/owners to confront these individuals in these situations. Yes, I understand that this would mean having to define a line of unruliness between merely annoying and a true nuisance (I think everyone can agree that expecting children to act like perfect angels all the time in all situations isn't practical) and that they'd fear losing a customer as a result of the confrontation. However, what about all of the other patrons who are subjected to these children?
No it is not. But it is perfectly acceptable to give the kid a "gentle kick" or a scary look so they stay the hell away from you, the innocent shopper
no but its the business of the stores authorities to tell them otherwiseits the parents who should!...if they are really bothering you, you should tell the parents or whoever is the adult companion to tell the kids to stop, not you to tell the kids because they are not your kids>
Yuck, I hate it when that happens when I am trying to shop.
of cause not!!

those parent are over temper their child. it make me feel like slap the kids and the parent.
NO it is not OK. It is rude and sometimes dangerous. Parents who do that should have to be locked in cells with their undisciplined children and annoying toys.
No it's not. But it seems that some parents never taught their kids manners, and they just want to shop on their own when they get to the store. These kids will not grow up respecting other people's property. And they're probably gonna be very aggressive because they don't seem to be loved and cared for.
